Solomon's Judge makes sense again!
F2pool wants to unite and doesn't want any split. F2pool tried to persuade Bitmain to activate SegWit first.
Bitmain (Jihan's right-hand man can certainly represent Bitmain) claims splits are inevitable if Core does not follow Bitmain's decision to do on-chain scaling. Because Bitmain and others won't change their mind.
Bitmain insists that it's Core's fault to make the split because Core does not follow Bitmain's decision to do on-chain scaling (Bitmain supports BU and extension block). If Core follows Bitmain, then there will be no different opinions.
Finally, F2pool felt Bitmain is mad and not reasonable. So the chat ended.
My opinion: If we follow the judge of Solomon, then F2Pool Wang Chun was, is and will be always our friends, and he believes that F2pool's & his interest is in the success of Bitcoin. Clearly, BU will never have the support from F2pool.
And Bitmain has some unknown interest beyond Bitcoin.
Bitmain acts unreasonably and firmly, then there must be some reason to urge him to do so. Maybe ASICBOOST, maybe something we don't know yet.
So in China, we only have enemies: 1. Jihan and his mates 2. Newbies who don't know/believe SegWit can lift transaction capacity.
